nisaa: (no wheat)

I can’t eat the Pocky that are on top of my fridge. I also can’t eat the Good Vita digestive “oat” crackers which really only contain wheat.

But I can eat the mochi and the bean jelly candies I got in Chinatown. Oh, and Luna bars and Odwalla bars appear to be wheat-free.

I took the Ezekiel sprouted grain tortillas out of the freezer last night. They're very very good. And, joy of joys, my favorite tortillas are the Spelt ones from Trader Joe’s.

I remembered that I can get my favorite wheat-free waffles from the regular grocery store – not just Trader Joe’s or a health food store, so I picked some up last night. I know where to look, I just have to be more strict about it.

I expect that this is going to be more difficult when I'm premenstrual and craving pepperoni pizza. I can't walk into my favorite pizza place and get a wheat-free slice. But for now, it's ok.

My stomach – still happy with me. No owies after meals or bloating, or anything else that comes after that’s TMI for the general public. I’m going to have to be careful I don’t eat too many salads though to replace the wheat, because raw foods are not good for my Spleen. My skin – too soon to tell, I think. I may just be imagining that the redness has gone down. And, I’m still taking my Chinese herbs and topical Salycilic acid medicine.

This article basically describes my life almost to a T, right down to the Accutane:
