My darling husband anticipated my needs and bought me a new bookshelf - only it didn't quite fit where he thought it would, so I spent the day rearranging the bedroom to fit the bookshelf. Our room and my workspace in it feel calm, peaceful and sane now. I've had a lot of trouble focusing this semester in school, so I hope that this helps - now that we're 2/3 of the way done with it. But now I have no excuse to putter around and organize and not study. Well, I have fewer excuses ;)

Does anyone have any good drink recommendations for Limoncello? I finally purchased a bottle of it today at Trader Joe's - a little splurge with a gift certificate I had. I think I will try it straight until I find something better to do with it . . .

Time for a nap or some homework, or both.

Cut the tart..

...in a vodka and cranberry by adding a shot of limoncello. I never liked cosmos or just plain vodka and cranberry until I tried adding the limoncello. The tart in the cranberry and the syrupy sweetness of the cancel each other out and you end up with a yummy fruitiness.

Also good for white sangrias.....cheap pinot grigio, pear juice, etc.
Or if you wanna feel fancier....

Saketini

one quarter affordable sake
one quarter limoncello
one quarter sour apple
one eigth vodka
one eigth tonic/champagne

my lush waitress skills to the rescue...

Ooh! I'll have to try both of those. I can afford cheap pinot grigio and pear juice, so I'll probably try that first. Thanks!
