Our trip to San Francisco this weekend was fun and crazy and full of surprises. I was so glad to spend time with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
unseelie and 1muse. We also got to see D who was visiting from Germany and J who we saw for the first time since Pennsic and who'll be here for Thanksgiving. Oh, and more Pennsic people who came down from Davis to see us too!!
There was very little sleep to be had by all. Lots of eating, all over the city. This was just Saturday: We went to the Muir Woods. We went to a drag bar where within 3 minutes of walking inside,1muse won a tiara and a free drink for getting up on stage with a wig and a boa and lip-synching to "I Will Survive" in a contest. We went to a bar with a beer garden and then to a superhero-themed costume fetishy party and then out to a diner for whatever meal you eat at 5 am after a club. On Sunday, we went to brunch and then to a cafe and then to show D the Pacific Ocean 'coz he hadn't seen it before. See what I mean? Non stop, No sleep til Venice kind of fun.
I dragged myself out of bed after about 6 hours of sleep and went to one class before I was delirious and came home to nap. In my life, I have to compact a lot of fun into a little time. I definitely succeeded this weekend. Next weekend promises to be as jam-packed with people visiting for Thanksgiving. I had better catch up on sleep now.
