Good news from the vet: my cat's thyroid levels are back to normal. The problem seems to have reversed itself. The vet didn't say it was a miracle but he did say that it was truly amazing. I'm very happy and pleased. He said he credited me and the nurturing environment we have for our cat. *pats self on back*
S and I have done very little today. I keep trying to convince him to get up off the couch, put on some clothes and go for a walk with me to get some gelato. I don't think it's going to happen until "Animal House" is over.

The only movie better than Henry V?
Nataliia was just watching "The Making of Animal House" behind me while I played Medieval Total War and let the Vikings loose all over northern Britain.
I lived in Animal House! I was Flounder! I knew those guys.

Funny, I just watched that movie for the first time all the way through the other day (I saw snippets of it as a kid). It's definitely a classic. From a pagan perspective I liked the ...um... (crap... what's the word for when you place two contrasting...) juxtaposition of the initiation ceremonies. It reminded me of Gardnerians verses Asautru (Norse pagans).

I didn't even see the initiation part of the movie this time. We stumbled on the movie at the tail end. Now I guess I'll just have to watch it again to see what you're talking about.
Oh, and I guess this makes you a pagan geek. *runs, ducks and hides*
