I just saw "Notorious C.H.O." on video with merchimerch and one of her straight male friends. Unless you are a straight male, you will probably love Margaret Cho's comedy.

OH how I wish that "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" started tomorrow instead of next Friday. I so totally need some brain candy with action and cute chicks like NOW.

One more midterm on Monday, but before that I have a weekend full of distractions (and work and studying). I'm going to a "Belly dance o-rama" on Saturday at an SCA friend's house in Lancaster. It's basically a hafla and it should be a lot of fun in spite of the schlep to Lancaster (1 1/2 hours north).

Somehow I then have to clone myself to go to a couple's 10th anniversary party in West Hollywood on Saturday too. Then a Summer Solstice celebration in the school garden on Sunday.

All interspersed with work and studying. Wish me luck with the studying.

Guilty as charged. I'm a straight male who doesn't find Margaret Cho to be particularly funny. None of it is really shocking to me, and she has some occasional funny moments.... it's just that I don't find her delivery to be all that good. It's almost like she's either trying to hard to make you like her, or not trying enough, because it's assumed that you love her already.
