I am experiencing a few hours of alone time accompanied by pasta and some of the left over grandma's secret recipe pasta sauce. It has been pretty crazy in our apt. this weekend with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
merchimerch moving her stuff out (temporarily, until January) and S moving her stuff in (temporarily, until January). (Oh! merchimerch: The Persian restaurant near our place is gone!!! It's a Vietnamese place that opened up 3 days ago. It's very good, but not the same.)
I escaped it all yesterday for a few hours and went to the Huntington Gardens for the first time ever. By the time we got there, it was an hour until closing time so L & L showed me around as quickly as they could. I don't think I've been to a garden as beautiful as that since I was in Paris. The Brooklyn Botanic Gardens are pretty too but just not as BIG! I'll have to go back to see the Zen Garden because it was closed by the time we got there. We were shooed out exactly at 4:30 because of a wedding that was happening at 5. ( I wondered if it was J. Lo and Ben . . . )
