We're in a cheesy old hotel on Route 66 in Gallup. Appaarently lots of old movie stars used to stay here. We're staying in the "Robert Taylor" room although we're not sure who he was. The hotel is called "El Rancho".
We got to see a beautiful area near a Reservation today called "Acoma" or "Sky City". We got there too late to go on a tour but a nice security guy let me buy a photo permit even though we got there really late. I got to take more pix of the mountains around the town for a few minutes before the sun went down.
I am dying to get my pix developed! Tomorrow we are going to the Painted Desert and then on to Flagstaff. Lots more photos to take tomorrow.
