This is La Familia Gladiatoria's new temple. Caius designed it and led the crew of camp mates and neighbors that built it. This is how awesome our corner of Pennsic is. Our camp has a temple!!

Doh! I so meant to make it down to your camp to see the temple and visit. But first week I kept procrastinating, and then second week the rain kept me busy in camp.

So sorry I missed it and seeing more of you.

Yeah, it really wasn't a Pennsic for doing much visiting. But if you did go visiting you might have gotten caught in the rain and taken shelter with people for a long visit. Thankfully, I was in camp most of the time it poured.

Some lovely shots! Several of my favorite SCA variety - the ones with no evidence of modernity. My faves- the ones of Dreda climbing into the temple, and the one looking out onto the lake with the little metal lantern on the ground. Smooches.
