I'll be teaching my Turkish Bath Class this coming Sunday, April 23rd at Collegium Caidis in the Barony of Dreiburgen (San Bernadino). The class will run from 2-3:50 pm. Come learn about the history of the Turkish bath and medieval beauty treatments for women and try out henna for the skin and hair and sugaring. And be sure to sample some Turkish desserts. More info is available on the website above.

Foo! I saw it on the list and *really* wanted to go, but I'm already committed that day elsewhere.

Re: Questions
2. Sorry, Caid is in the title of Collegium Caidis, so I figured people would know.
3. I go to Pennsic every year. I teach this class there too, at the Classic Swimming hole. The only men I allow are to participate in my class are Eunuchs-for-a-day.
4. I don't make public posts very often. Who are you?

Re: Questions
Basically, I looked up some interests in LJ that I have, I think, in your case it was Farscape.
I went to Pennsic in '04 and I hope (although my personal life is rapidly crushing the hope) to get back again this year. The group I camped with is up on the sahara.... which is not nearly as bad as I was led to believe, and no freaking mosquitoes! (I hate mosquitoes because they love me).
Basically, from the few posts I saw, i thought you looked interesting and I though i would say hi and hope for some interesting conversation...
So, "hi"
:-)
And I am interested in the baths, mainly because.... a bath is a bath to me so i am curious what makes one different from another.
