Yesterday my neighbor played Kate Bush's new single, "King of the Mountain" for me. I'm looking forward to the double album called "Aerial" coming out on November 8th. Yay!
Edit: It's been far too long - 12 years. Tori is not a substitute for Kate. I mean, I love Tori but there is an angrier edge to her voice. Kate's voice is sweet and other worldly. My neighbor says they both come from the same planet (not this one) along with Bjork and Emmy Lou Harris. I think he's right.
13 hours until I get to see Serenity. Luckily I have a full day before then to distract me.
p.s. My husband is a big damn fanboy. :P

I always get unnaturally excited to find other fans. most times I feel like I'm the only one who had even heard of her.

Did you see my post about the Tori Amos concert I went to recently where she did a cover of "Running Up That Hill"? She totally made it her own song and crushed the comparison between them for me.

Uh, oh. Crushed it in a good way?
I tend to love Tori Amos' covers. I hope she didn't ruin the song for you.

I'll have to check out the new album. I haven't listened to Kate Bush since I was in high school. Which was a long, long time ago.

Bjork or Bobcat Goldthwait... it was too funny. Contestants would hear a sample clip of audio and have to figure out which one it was.
I like Bjork, but I think I prefer Bobcat.
