My SoFoBoMo starts tomorrow

Tomorrow is the day I start my Solo Photo Book Month. No matter what happens, I'm committed to at least trying to see it through. The theme ("My chosen poly family") may change depending on the course of events in my biological family over the next few weeks, but I'm still gonna give it a try.

When I wasn't able to sleep this morning, I started thinking of the text for the book. I can pretty much write that anytime when I'm not taking photos.

Today the photos will start at Mono Lake.

I cut my left thumb this morning but I suppose it's better than cutting my right index finger which I use to I press the shutter on the camera.

we can do picks some time when you get back. Friday afternoons will be better than Tuesdays for me, since I'm prepping for classes on Tuesdays, unless we wait until mid-June when classes are over.

This sounds like a neat project. Will you be posting your images online as you do them?

I'm in the extended Bay Area for the next several weeks--- out in Davis/Sacramento until May 30, then taking a week or so of vacation closer in to the city. It'd be great to catch up with you while I'm in town.

Everything's up in the air right now because I may have to fly back to NY for a funeral in the near future. But in theory, yes, it'd be great to see you. Just let me know when you're heading to the city.

Not at all! It's a "fuzzy month" - you choose 31 contiguous days between May 1st and June 30th.

In the time between my post and yours, I registered, ;) I think I might just have a photo subject in mind... ;) The one thing I'm looking for is, are the photos to be taken in that time, or just compiled?

Heheheh I always think this too. And I'm terrified of losing my vision!

I love the idea of doing a book and hope yours goes well. I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts as the month goes by.

Oh yeah, I'm scared of losing my eyesight too. I mean, I know I could do acupuncture if blind (one of my teacher's teachers was blind & did just fine).

I'm starting to try to consolidate mine. Have on theme that's coming together well, but means I REALLY want to use a few shots from April during the Carnival up here.
