Scary Monsters. I just watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I liked the way it was filmed. It reminded me of Pulp Fiction because the time was all out of sequence. It also reminded me of Waking Life because it made you think about what reality actually is. And about past lives. (Maybe I was French and lived in France only a few years ago? Maybe my mind was erased? Maybe that's why Kirsten Dunst looks so familiar? Maybe that's why my brain thinks in French so much of the time? Not that I really believe that, but it's always a possibility, I guess.)

Oh! I LOVE that movie -- one of my favorites, now. It really is one of those which makes you question the basic interface between mind and reality, but it's also a sweet, compelling love story, even if most of it is taking place in Joel's mind.
