I need to set up a schedule of time to study for the pre-clinical exam. Because, really, I have two days off of school during the week and those are supposed to be the days I study for that exam. What have I done so far? Jack. shit.

I dunno - maybe I'll try to "reward" myself - if I study at least 8 hours one week just for that exam (including group study sessions), I'll go see a movie or something. The test is on March 18th. I have 2 months and a week. I also have to make sure that I don't get all wound up about it. Rescue Remedy shall be my friend. Lots of water with lemon juice. I will do even a little bit of Dao-in every week outside of class to move qi. I will make sure to ride my bike as much as possible (except in rain and heavy winds).

I have a half hour now before a friend from Boston shows up to stay here while looking for a place to live. I'd better get crackin'.

I am a big sticker user - I put shiny stickers on a wall calendar every day that I do the thing I need to do (I'm doing it at work right now with going to the gym). There's something really great about the visual of all those shiny stars. I would endorse the reward plan too!

PS I am sick as a dog - so you won't see me aroud - except hobbling into the clinic!

The stickers are a great idea! Now all I need is a calendar to put them on.
I'm sorry you're so sick. Let me know if you need anything, ok?

thanks hon. you should be able to get calendars on sale this time of year. You can always just print one out on the computer too with your study dates on it (whoo hoo!)
