I got up early today to finish sewing those eye pillows I talked about previously. They are gifts for some of my classmates and I was going to give them out tonight at a holiday party but it got cancelled due to the rain and lack of RSVPs :( So, S and might go see House of Flying Daggers instead.

Inside my raincoat this morning, I found a map to the New Orleans Jazzfest fairgrounds. That was the last place I wore my raincoat. And it will probably be the next place I need it, since the forecast is for rain for our whole trip, except for January 2nd. *sigh* But I'm sure it'll be fun, in spite of the rain. We leave tomorrow night and I'm looking forward to it. Next week, it's back to school, so I have to enjoy as much of this week as possible.

House of Flying Daggers is awesome! Caveat: not all the plot points get resolved completely but it's beautiful in every way which makes up for any flaw an American auidence might find. :) I loved the movie!

It was pretty, yes, but the movie fell apart for me in the last hour. I was okay up until Nia sent Mei off with Wind. After that, it just became a normal sappy love story complete with a gratuitous snow scene to make the blood look more red.

But yes, it was pretty ;)
