I just got to use glitter glue pens for perhaps the first time in my life. How cool is that?! I mean, I'm very nearly 34 years old. There is glitter everywhere. S found some in my hair on the way to the Farmers' Market this morning. I feel like I'm 5 years old all over again. Which is good because when I was 5, I don't think I was allowed to play with glitter at all.

I'm just being amused at my childlike craftiness. That's all for now.

Well, there's only 14 million or so people in the LA area....kinda hard to avoid contact!

I didn't know you knew Denise....she's a Venice neighbor and a friend of my Boston friends. Of course, I see her more on the street than I do in any sort of social setting.....

we kept running into each other at things and have mutual friends, so we finally added each other on LJ

my ex and I on an afternoon would do paper mache. Yup: flour, (warm) water, tearing newspapers to tiny bits, molding wire mesh, glue all over your hands and everywhere else -- it's grand! Oh, did I mention the mimosa fountain? At the end of the evening I had a semi-articulated pig and she had a little card-holder dog and a big piggy bank. She's a lot better than me. Next time, my mimosas will have OJ only for color :)
