Stupid f*ing tourists! I came home after being away for an hour and some SUV mofo had parked in our space and didn't leave any room for another car. I called all the neighbors and our roommate and no one knew anything. Our landlady -get this - suggested I write in lipstick on their windshield.

I chose to sit on the stoop and hover until they came back. Then they appeared - a group of 5 foreign tourists. The driver said in some accent "I'm sorry I didn't see a reservation". I told him he can't park in other people's spaces and that he has to pay for parking. I didn't chew him a new one. I just slammed doors. I know, I live in a tourist mecca. I can still be mad about it.

No, but it's pretty obviously in front of a house - it's not a real apt. building - it's just a house that was broken up into apts. However, that's a good idea. I may ask my landlady to put signs up on the house near the driveway.

a lovely thing! yes, a drink. generally a gin mix but can be made with vodka. I'd suggest you taking a sweetie to the bar, it's cozy.
