I came home early from Pathophysiology class tonight because I'm exhausted. I don't think it's from lack of sleep though. Post-midterms? Pre-menstrual?

Well, anyway, it was all better with some left over chocolate cake with cheesecake filling followed by popcorn. And I introduced my new roommate to the horrors of reality t.v. He'd never before seen "Fear Factor" or "For Love or Money". Not that that makes him a bad person, it actually makes him a better person in my eyes. I only watch that crap when I need brain candy.

I do, by the way, have a very healthy congee cooking on the stove right now, with herbs to make me feel less exhausted. I'm sure it will be very beneficial . . . now that the all of the chocolate cake is gone. Let's just hope it tastes good. *crosses fingers*

oh good heavens corrupting the new roomie with reality tv.....sick just sick.

Of course I miss television bitterly right now, after 6 frickin frackin hours of Uzbek there is nothing I want more than to watch a few hours of reality drivel.....especially when the only other thing to do is homework.

the rest of the week is a lighter load, right?

Yeah, well, I need him to fill the void left by you somehow ;) You and I used to get sucked into bad reality TV on Monday nights a fair bit.

Yes, the rest of my week is lighter, except I have a paper to write for Friday and a presentation to give on Monday, so it's not time to really slack off.

mmmm monday night TV and grad student beer - I want some!

Uzbek is 6 hours a day M-Th and 4 hours on Friday. Every single bloody frickin day begins at 8 AM. I hate learning languages! Ethnomusicologists are civilized enough to know that class should NEVER begin before 10 AM.....

at least I have weekends.
