It was the best damned show left on television. I think I feel sadder than when Buffy ended, somehow. But the ending was . . . open-ended, wasn't it? Well, it's over, at least for now. Somehow I don't think it's actually over for good. That could be hope.

They finally gave us the grrr argh and I didn't get it on tape. *sadness*

But I have been promised DVDs of Firefly so I can keep in the Jossverse for a little while longer.

Who was your favorite character on Angel? I think mine was Fred. My favorite line of hers was "You know what they say about payback? Well, I'm the bitch." (supersymmetry)

I loved the episode... it was very glib. And yes, open-ended... maybe it will come back? Or some version of the Buffyverse will evolve from this show too?

Angel: One of you will betray me
[Spike raises his hand.]
Angel: No, not you.
Spike: Then can I at least deny you three times?

*giggle* I love Spike.

Good Night Deamon Slayer...

I think the best line I heard was: Female Senator: "I did not claw my way out of Hell and posses this pathetic human body to Not end up in the White House." It made BeetleFuck Laugh!

Damn the WB!
It's just the Man trying to keep us down!

PS: Spike was the bomb-diggity.
(I was a bit disappointed to learn his accent is all acting.)

My Favorite...

Gunn, Charles Gunn. I just loved the evolution of his character from street bad ass to legal firm bad ass. And come on, that man is one tall, hot drink of chocolate!

I have barely watched all season and I missed the ending....anyone got any tapes they will share with me? I will bake brownies in exchange (or whatever else you might want)

I have the tapes for most of the season. And yes, you can borrow them. Are you going to T's bachelorette party tomorrow? If so, I can bring them then, or whenever you come around to get her purple bookcases.

They finally gave us the grrr argh

what do you mean? the copy I watched cut off before the grr argh...

From: [identity profile] nisaa.livejournal.com

I watched it when it was broadcast here in L.A. and I did see the grr argh. I was just upset that I didn't get it on tape (I wasn't quick enough to hit record after the commercials). I heard that in some areas of the country they cut it off, but you're here, so that doesn't make sense. Unless you watched a copy from another time zone?

I downloaded it, and the d/l didn't have any closing credits.

was it just a normal grr argh? what was special about its presence?

It was a normal grr arrgh. The WB usually cut it off at the end except for the finale. He didn't turn his head towards us or anything like he did for the finale of Buffy.
