Ok, so I had a migraine that lasted roughly from 4 in the morning until about an hour ago. I did not take my Biochem final tonight. I talked to the prof and he said I could take it on Thursday morning. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Now I'm jittery from the Excedrin for Migraine that finally did the trick. Hopefully *crosses fingers* I won't need to take more tomorrow as I have a Points final at 9am and really don't need to be all shaky when I try to put stickers all over my classmate. (I am practicing tonight by putting stickers on
butterflies79 and I have been very shaky.)
I think maybe next term I'm going to try to learn the indications for acupuncture points by using songs too. It's worked for Herbs, so why not try it?

The hot/cold migraine treatment that works well for me is this:
Equipment: basin of hot water (large enough for both feet), kettle of hot water to keep basin water hot, bucket with cold tap water, medium-sized towel (a hand towel & a washcloth also works), one ounce of brandy.
Procedure:
Place your feet in a basin of hot water, adding more from a kettle at your side as it cools off. Soak the towel/washcloth in a bucket of cold tap water, wring it out, and place it around your head & neck. Repeat every 5 minutes to maintain a cool temperature. If dramatic improvement does not take place in 10 minutes, sip an ounce of brandy. Also pinch & massage the area between your thumb & forefinger. This treatment should take 20-30 minutes.
Sweet dreams, & good luck on your exams!
