This visiting cat fucking hates me. A lot. I don't know what the hell to do with her. Every time I try to pet her she tries to bite me. She's here until Wednesday. She doesn't even like me when I bring her food.

I brought S's bike to the shop today to get a quick relase put on the seat so I can ride it. It had SO many cobwebs on it, it wasn't funny. The bike store folks convinced me that it was time for a new helmet too.
I figured it was a good idea, since I only have one head and since my old helmet already saved me in one accident when I was still living in Somerville.

His bike is so much nicer than mine. He actually spent real money on it when we lived in Boston because he commuted to work with it. Now I'm the one commuting and since he's not using it, why should it just stay in the garden gathering cobwebs? I was going to bring in mine to get the flat tire replaced but thought better of it. Now my old bike can collect some cobwebs until I get around to replacing the tire.

I had a power points study session with a classmate this afternoon at school for 3 1/2 hours!! Now I am faced with the decision to study more or go to IKEA (one of my favorite places in the entire world). There are some things I'd like to surprise my hubby with, in addition to lingonberries. Hmmm . . .

I ended up going today instead. It was sort of a surgical strike trip with my upstairs neighbor. We were in and outta there in less than an hour. Sadly though, I am sans lingonberries because the line at the food section was horrendous. So, I guess I'll have to go to Surfas for my fix!!

Oh, I'm so sorry the cat hates you - I am usually good with cats (like you) so I always take it really personally when a cat doesn't like me. However, I learned volunteering at the animal shelter in NY that some cats are just going to hate me and so I don't try to pet them - I just feed them and get on with my life. It sucks having a hateful kitty as a houseguest though.
