One of my sweet, concerned classmates asked me yesterday how I was. I told him that things are a lot better since I dropped a shift at the school clinic. I am now only working in the clinic on Thursday evenings, which is when
acumen is there so it's all good. Yay!
Wednesdays were hell and now they are manageable. I have class from 9-1 and then from 6-9. I had so much free time to chill and study yesterday that I didn't know what to do with myself. It is such a relief. I am trying to relax as much as possible today because I start working at the yoga expo as of tomorrow morning all weekend .
I went to the gym with my husband this morning for the first time in two weeks. It seems like every time I take a little time off, I go back and can lift more weight. I'm getting stronger and am happy about that. I'm going to make sure I go twice a week regularly.
I'm also going to start saying no politely when classmates ask me if I want a ride home at night. I'm at school/work 3 nights a week now and I am perfectly capable of riding my bike home. I have a bike light and everything. Unless I'm too tired or sick, then I'll take a ride. But I'm not gonna get any cardio exercise at all unless I start saying no to rides.
In other news, I get to talk to D in about a week, when he's done with his month of seclusion. I can't wait to talk to him. I have missed him so much. But I guess he picked a good month to do it while Mercury was in retrograde for most of it.
