My husband, stevefava deadlifted 475 pounds today at a contest at Muscle Beach. He came in second in his weight class (there were only two people in his weight class in the contest though, but still, it's impressive). I'm very proud of him. He got a trophy and everything.

Yes, I'm lifting - but not competitively! I'm only lifting between 5 and 25 lbs. while working out and that's just twice a week. I'm not deadlifting like he is :)
