I'm awake coz I went to Burbank for this Buffistas face to face thing last night and we didn't even do the singalong to the "Buffy" musical. But I got to see E who is visiting all the way from Somerville (yay!!). I got to eat a real New York everything bagel last night for the first time in 9 months (?). It was heavenly. One of the buffistas brought them from 98th street. It was only a day old. I was sooooooooo happy.

So I woke up in the hotel room and decided that 6 in the morning was a good time to drive on the LA freeways (almost like driving on them the week between Xmas and New Year's when there's no one around.)

And now is a good time to snuggle with my hubby since I fed merchimerch some tea before she headed out to her conference at 7:30. (Good luck, evil roommate!) The agenda today: sleep more. study some. go to a birthday party. go to Buffista prom. take lots of pix of other buffistas.

The question is: do I wear a real Prom dress to this thing that looks silly but very 80's prom-like (I bought it for a party that happened a little while ago at lifeofreilly's ). Short, burgundy velvet with purple poufy roses on the shoulders. Or do I go for looking fabulous in a not-prom way? Goth butterfly corset and black velvet skirt? Or do I go for dressing like Faith when she was in Buffy's body (meaning I could dress like Faith but still have blonde hair. Although I'd have to crinkle my hair). Hrrmmm? Any thoughts?

I think I might bring 2 outfits and do a change in the middle of the prom maybe. I should also see if I have that episode of the Faith/Buffy body switch so I can figure out what besides leather pants and a tank top to wear . . .

I was thinking about that dress too. When I told Ajax, he fully agreed. I had to rummage around to find the pink glowes that go along with it. Found them in my pile of fetish clothes.

ooh, I forgot about the Buffistas thing; I might still have gone! ah well. had a great night with a vague buffy theme anyway. I wonder if Amber Benson knew about the buffistas.

Yeah, you had a much more exciting buffy-related sort of evening. You're some kind of Amber Benson magnet. How do you DO that???? And if you know, will you share the magnetism with your friends, please?? *bats eyelashes*

I thought you had plans this weekend, sorry I didn't remind you about the buffistas thing.
