"Take the day off today." No, seriously. I spent a few hours awake in the middle of the night last night. I was sick and even technicolor yawned. I didn't want to miss the first day of my Points II class this morning, but I did anyway, because having sinus pain and a migraine and not a lot of sleep didn't make for an eager student.

Then, merchimerch came home!!!! Yay! And I knew, that the gods told me to take today off so I could be here to greet her when she walked in the door. Her ride home from the airport didn't make it in time, so she had to take a cab. But I had hugs and love and Reese's peanut butter cups waiting for her. And she had prezzies!! I love prezzies!

So, I tried to be responsible and go to my second class. I showed up at school and the classroom was empty. Turns out that the prof had to go out of town unexpectedly and the class has been postponed a few weeks. I saw my Points prof and he told me that I didn't miss much and I made a tutoring appt. with our TA. It'll all be okay.

Now I'm back home and able to rest and recover. I'm laying low so T and her boyfriend can catch up after 4 months apart. I think we should take her out for gelato this evening.
