(no subject)

We picked up our new , working DVD/VCR player today and it thrills me to no end. I can now record stuff from the television with a timer! I can watch DVDs! I can watch VHS tapes! Yay! All thanks to my dad for getting me a small gift I could carry home on the plane: a gift card to Best Buy. Yes, my friends, it's the simple things I need in my life.

I watched "Whalerider" last night (on the old, inferior VCR). It was an amazing movie, and was highly recommended to me by several people, including acumen who first told me about it. WoW! Just go and rent it now.

My friend from France sent me pictures of her new baby, Teeva. Apparently, the book we sent her on how to stop babies from crying arrived just in time. We also sent her a bottle of "8 hours of uninterrupted sleep", which she appreciated :) Bienvenue au monde, petite Teeva!

Starting to get my IDs back from the disappearing wallet incident. I got my bank card today and then I was able to order a new driver's license.
