butterflies79 said it's so. The original chocolate sex cake was found at a diner in Montreal. pax_industria and stevefava and I have had it before. But sadly, that diner doesn't make it anymore.
But, yesterday, I reinvented it forstevefava's bday party. It was a chocolate layer cake with raspberry filling and covered with chocolate and raspberries. There wasn't very much flour in the cake at all. Mostly chocolate and eggs. Everyone was very happy and sweet-toothed out.
It was a lovely bday dinner and it went very late. Most of the people from our building went for a walk on the beach around midnight. We played in the sand with the phosphorescent algae, which glowed green every time we touched it. It was very amusing to see our neighbor's little dog running around. It looked like he had green lightning at his paws! ( Read more... )
