(no subject)

I'm back from Pennsic. I got into LA yesterday afternoon at 3. I got bamboozled by my hubby and our friend to drive back with them. I suppose the drive was fun - we made it from Slippery Rock, PA to Glendale, CA in 48 hours.

Somewhere in Arizona yesterday at around 7am I absolutely had to have a shower and brush my teeth. I was trying to be as unkempt as the boyz but, really, I saw no reward waiting for me if I made it home to LA smelly. So I had a shower at a truckstop.

Now I am making up for roomie's bad day at work and me living in guyville for the last two days by watching "The Guru" and eating junkfood.

Pennsic recap

Pennsic was too short this year. I was there for only 6 days. ( cut for those who might not be interested in Pennsic madness )

I am home and safe and awaiting next year's Pennsic already. I'm going to plan next summer term around it and not take any classes on Mondays so I can go for a longer time. Is that awful or what?

I am definitely going to convince one friend out here that she and her hubby simply must go to Pennsic next year. I spent every day thinking about all the things I wanted to show her and all the people I wanted to introduce her to.

*sigh* For now I will enjoy my time back in the 21st century and flush toilets and take showers and use electricity lots. And I have a week and a half left of break from school to finish off my top 10 list of things to do. I have about 300 pages left in "Two Towers" so that should keep me busy for a while. ;)
