so this is not paradise

my husband is in Los Angeles
my landlords are in Costa Rica
and I'm here in snowy Somerville

so this is not paradise
but
I have more than enough hot water for a bath whenever I want one
and play music as loud as I want, whenever I want
and I've left the laundry baskets full for days

I'm dreaming of a vacation in a warm sunny place
and watching the travel channel to find just the right one

for now I'll take care of my sneezing kitty
and enjoy spending time with myself
