Happy Beltaine!
I am taking the idea of fertility not in the reproductive sense. I don't wanna be pregnant! But I think that maybe my hubby who was wondering what to do with the Rose of Jericho he's been sprouting
should bury it into the compost pile along with an intention of what he wants to grow in his life.
I had dinner and drinks with a classmate of mine and we came up with ideas for getting a group of us together who are interested in spiritual healing arts to study together - go to workshops on different topics together. This made me excited.
Hey, maybe go see ammachi together, there's a thought.
I'd like an abundance of clean laundry in my life. Whether or not that will happen tonight remains to be seen.
I have an abundance of love in my life. Especially feline love. Of this I am very grateful.
I'd also like to know how I'm going to lead a Maypole Dance on Saturday when I've never done so before (but I have great guidelines and lots of details) and I'm doing it with a mixed group of people - probably not a lot of pagans. I guess I'll be talking about fertility of the earth and ideas and celebrating Spring.
It'll all be ok. I guess my lesson this Beltaine is about gathering courage. Should I watch The Wizard of Oz tonight?
