Since [livejournal.com profile] merchimerch reported on her first day back, I thought I'd copy her:

I am not nearly as exhausted from today's class schedule as I thought I would be (class from 10-12, then 5-9). Probably because I came home and took a nap in between classes. ;)

Medical qigong is worth making my day looooooooonnnng for so far. Dao-In is like Chinese yoga and I am not sure how I feel about that yet. All I know is that I am NOT flexible at all and felt very silly and challenged and wanted to give up until I talked to my classmate who recommended the class to begin with. I will give it another try next week and we shall see.

Night classes seem to agree with me so far. I felt perky and alert and awake during Herbs class.
And K and I are the fan club for our professor. She rocks. We have to learn 111 herbs in 14 weeks? - oh boy.

I must be feeling better because I came home and pigged out on sugar - which means I gave into my PMS cravings. I think the cold will be gone very soon.

Didn't get the job with the acupuncturist in Beverly Hills :( Still looking. Am applying for bookkeeping, modeling and clinic receptionist positions. But I got my loan check today so life is much better and the rent check will clear. Phew.

Last night I went to Gemini Manor's Russian Christmas party with [livejournal.com profile] merchimerch , S and J. Saw [livejournal.com profile] totallyhot and A there too. It was a good way to end vacation. Can't wait to take our friends from NYC there when they're in town. M & J are going to be here next week!!! YAY! And they'll be bringing good bagels too! Double yay!

You can do it! I know you can! I'd dress up in my cheerleader suit with the pom poms and do a little dance, but that would scare the cats and you know... everyone. So, consider yourself cheered on. :-)

C'mon, what, Noah's Bagels aren't the real thing??

aw, come on, for me? *blink, blink* Thanks for the encouragement though! I may be talking a lot about herbs to anyone and everyone in the next 14 weeks.

And what are Noah's Bagels? Are you going to take me to try some on Sat. morning? Or were you being sarcastic? I can't tell. I'm from NY and that's the place where the One True Bagel comes from ;)

Noah's New York Bagels is a chain, a la Starbucks I'll admit, but they do have pretty decent bagels. Not as good as REAL bagels which are tough on the outside and chewy on the inside, but these are the best I've found locally and are a far cry from Lenders.

okay, maybe the cheerleader skirt and pompoms but I draw the line at the silly pigtails, okay?

As for Dao-In/yoga... breathe in to the poses. Breathe THROUGH them. And do what your body needs. And no further.
And smile.

I miss you, pretty girl.

Thanks. I will take your advice and breathe and smile.
I miss you too. Ajax will be in San Fran from Thursday to Monday but I won't. *pout* He'll be staying with [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] . No late night Denny's for us this weekend. I hope to see you soon though. *hugs*
