our party tonight

We're having our housewarming party tonight. It should at least be an interesting mix, to say the least. I am hoping it goes well and am expecting stuff like:

1. "How do you know D?"
"I go to acupuncture school with her."

1a. "How do you know D?"
"I'm her neighbor."

2. "How do you know D?"
"I met her in the SCA, the medieval group we're in."

3. "How do you know D?"
"I know her from Boston."

4. "How do you know D?"
"Oh, I don't know her. We're both on a 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' board "

5. "How do you know D?"
"Oh, I don't know her. We're both on a Witches social board."

6. "How do you know D?"
"Oh, I don't know her. S invited everyone on a Bisexual board."

7. "How do you know D?"
"Oh, I don't know her. S met me through an online personal ad."

I'm leaving it up to fate.
How are we going to fit everyone in this apt.?

hi there :-) you left a comment to my post on the polyLA LJ board earlier. Welcome to LA. Hope your party was a smashing success and that really sucks about your car. Street parking in Venice is wretched!! I live about 10 minutes from Venice, a bit east of you.
So. Do you need a referral to a good doctor in the area or are you hooked up already? Ditto on a good dentist? Let me know. I'm happy to give you the names of mine ;-) also I have a hairdresser who rocks - these are three things that are hard to find in a new city you know? but so, so important for feeling at home.

Oh bugger. The person I was attending with (and my ride) just flaked out on me. I was really looking forward to meeting you. I was hoping we could go see Frida or something together one of these days.
