Should I try to take my cat out for a walk on a leash? I don't want him to wander out onto Pacific Ave by himself and get killed. But he's not getting much exercise now and I wonder if he's bored. We're also thinking about getting a kitten so they can play with each other. Except I'm not sure how my lungs would handle that.

"You've heard of payback, right? Well, I'm the bitch." - Fred from "Angel"
I want to be doing anything right now but studying or balancing my checkbook. I'm gonna go take a walk and re-park the car so we (I) don't have to get up before 7 in the morning to move it.
Why is my stomach in knots?

I have actually been considering the same thing with my cat. I even bought him a little kitty harness yesterday, which he did not enjoy. At ALL. So... it may take a while. I know he'd love being outside, but he's not getting out the door without a leash and harness on my watch. On the other hand, he thinks he's a dog anyway... how hard can it be to train him? =)
*hugs* my love to you and A.!
