My dear friend Nathalie called me from Hungary today - actually her husband made the call probably so he could practice his very good English with a Californian accent (don't know how he got that since he's never been here). I was worried about Nathalie because I hadn't heard from her in a while. Usually that means she's very depressed. This time I think it was because she recently moved outside of Budapest to a small village and doesn't have email access yet.
She said they have a house with a big garden but that it's a little like being in the Middle Ages - they have electricity but that's about it.
Alex said he owed me a flight to Hungary (since I paid for Nathalie to come to our wedding). I think it will be way too expensive for them to buy me a ticket, but we'll see. I AM in school again so I get vacations and all. I would love to see her again - it's been a little over two years since she was here for my wedding.
Anyway, I'm trying to decide if I need to sleep more or just have caffeine and start my day. My sleep has been interrupted so many times this morning by the phone ringing off the hook.
Oh, and my friend Nigel got to hang out with Midge Ure in NYC after his shows!!! How cool is that?! All I could say to him was "Dude! Midge Ure?!?!" (If you don't know who Midge Ure is you are probably too young or I am too old or something.)
