Wednesday is kinda the "when is this going to be over?" day.
The two classes I have on this day are sooooooo boring. Snooze classes.
But I got an ok to write a paper comparing Medicine in 16th Century Ottoman Empire to that of the Ming Dynasty. Figure I can combine SCA and acupuncture stuff all together. Especially because my first idea - to write about the origins and history of gynecological acupuncture - isn't going to work because there are no texts in English about it. Hrrmmph.
The day started by biking to the Santa Monica Farmer's Market with S. He got mad at me for not noticing my back tire was flat. I thought I was just out of shape (which I know I'm not so I don't know why I didn't notice. I ride my bike about 20 miles a week now. I almost have buns of steel). Grumpy grumpy.
A cop on a motorcycle told me to watch the colors of the lights as I passed thru an amber light on my bike. I pointed it out to him. Probably shouldn't have but he didn't stop me.
Brought my bike to the shop on the way home. Met another Cambridge/Somerville transplant. A guy who works at the bike shop who just moved here a few months ago too. I actually used to live 2 blocks from his elementary school. Small world.
Migraines have been bothering me all week. Stress release from tests, Stress building because of another test tomorrow and a paper due. I'm not used to this kind of stress.
I suppose it's better than the ugh days I used to have almost everyday when I had jobs that bored me to tears. Actually, it's much better.
