Left Pennsic this morning. We're at a b&b in Kentucky which is halfway to Nashville - our next stop. Sort of like being at home, which is completely a temporary state of mind right now.
S is up in our room taking a bath. I'm checking my mail and doing our necessary laundry.
Whenever we open the trailer to get something out, I feel like a gypsy. We had to haul twice as much stuff out than we needed to get to everything.
Pennsic was wonderful. Pennsic was hot and humid. I am now known as the Turkish Bath lady, which makes me giggle inside. Apparently the one section I taught at the nude swimming hole raised a lot of discussion. Men kept asking if they could show up to help bathe the women. Next year I might ask a selected few to do just that. However, this year, Ajax was the only man who escorted my class of 15 women to the swimming hole. He was both our security guard, geek-be-gone and our bath servant. We all had a great time and it was all really just 'good clean fun'. I'm so tired that I just made that awful joke but I'm keeping it in to remember.
I had one new date a Pennsic. Someone who has been one of my neighbors there for a few years. This time we both had the time and the interest . . Sigh. I have not had a lot of sleep in the last two nights. Grin. More on that for my own private journal.
