We had to take L to the emergency room on Sunday morning at 5am. She had cut herself with a weed wacker the week before. It was ok and then it started to get ugly. When she got off of work sat. night she asked us to take her to the hospital. I stayed with her - we were there until 11:30 am. We went back to her apt. and the two of us slept for a few hours.
She had to go back yesterday morning for another intravenous antibiotic shot. She has a strep. infection in her foot. That's not good and she'll be on antibiotics for a while but she'll live.
I skipped work yesterday and we drove back after the hospital. I missed my therapy appt. but it's ok because she never cancelled my appt. for this thurs so I'm covered.
S and I fell down and went thud when we got home last night. We slept for about 12 hours. I finally feel human again.
