Turkish Bath class at Pennsic

The Turkish Bath class at Pennsic this year will take place on Tuesday August 7th and Thursday August 9th from 3-6pm. Tues. class will be in La Familia Gladiatoria's camp. Thurs. class will be at the Classic Swimming hole.

Here's the rest of the description:
Pennsic is our vacation so why not pamper ourselves? Come learn about history and beauty treatments used in period Turkey and sample Turkish desserts. Please bring a towel.

Your Turkish bath class is wonderful! If I do decide to be brave enough to dye my hair with henna this year, where can I find the best quality henna at Pennsic ? And how much of a colour change will it make on medium-brown hair (I want a subtle reddish brown, not a bright true red).

I usually supply some henna for the class, but if you want to ensure that there's enough for your hair, you can get henna from Ghazalah. Her website is www.hennadancer.com. I'm not sure which merchant's stall she'll be selling out of this year at Pennsic - if you email her at info@hennadancer.com she can set aside henna for you to pick up at Pennsic so you won't have to pay shipping (henna is heavy!)

As for the color, there are samples of different people's hair at www.hennaforhair.com along with recipes for how they got that color if you want to take a look.
