nisaa: (no wheat)

Ok, I admit I had some of my friends' wedding cake on Friday. It was a small piece and it would have been bad luck not to. I did not have any bao at dim sum or bread at dinner on the day of the wedding and I didn't really mind because I've been feeling a lot better.

Today, at the Farmers Market, I went up and said hi to the staff at the Cafe Laurent booth and explained why I wouldn't be buying their croissants for a month but I'd still stop by to say hi. If I do start eating croissants again, it won't be 3 or 4 a week, even though there's a discount when you buy a few of them.

At the Market, I got a buckwheat crepe from the Acadie booth, which is what I always get. When I got home I started to wonder if it's all buckwheat in the crepes and not part buckwheat, part white flour. I should probably find out.

The benefits of a mostly no wheat week have been:
No stomach ache or bloating after eating.
No constipation or diarrhea.
My husband says my moods are more even
He can also tell my acne is going away (even the really stubborn zit that my glasses hit between my eyes all the time).

I haven't been as hungry as I thought I would be. And I'm not eating all that much. I really need to remember to cook up some wild rice for the week though. The white rice I've had this week is almost as bad as white flour in terms of how fast your body processes it.

This experiment is proving to be worthwhile.

This is not about your wheat post.

This is about the fabu soap you brought us from China.

It's glyceriney & tingly & J's not allergic to it (most soaps give him rashes) and we really like it.

Thank you:)

I wish I could get more. We got a box of that soap as a present. It's bee pollen glycerin in case you can find something else like it.
