Hi, I've had a migraine since yesterday afternoon. Read: not fun. No amount of magic I try seems to help. It's almost gone but then it isn't. *sigh*

Time to drink some stinky herbs, pop an excedrin and go back to bed.

did you try the pressure points for digestive?

Did you try GB31 on the opposite side of the headache, and if that on it's own doesn't work, add Lv 2 or 3 (whichever is more tender)and TW 5 on the opposite side of GB31, and PC6 on the same side?

I tried LV3 and it helped a bit. GB40 and 41 didn't help. Bleeding LV1 didn't help.

I haven't tried GB31 OR TW5 OR PC6. I will go do that now. Thanks. It's hard to think about which points to use when you're actually in pain. I'm sure you understand that.

No, but the person who commented below just recommended some points for me to try. Thanks!

Yeah I know, I can't treat myself when I've got a problem even if I know exactly what to do on someone else.

*reading that now*

i wish i knew the names for things, but i just know where they are and what they do ;-)

webbing of thumb as close to the joint as possible (both hands), with a pulling out toward the edge motion, both sides, as much pressure as you can stand. also, geranium and/or lavender oil on that spot would be a beneficial addition.

Ah, yes. That would be Large Intestine 4. I already tried that and it didn't work. The migraines I get are really freakin' stubborn. Oh, thank you for reminding me about lavender oil. It's supposed to be really good for the Liver, and therefore, migraines.

I tried a bottle of carrot juice as recommended by a doc at school and that seems to have done the trick this time. Yay!

It's not a cure but..

I offer hugs and sympathy...

I hope you feel better soon.
