Yes, I occasionally lose my boyfriend to that Diablo as well. Silly Diablo. (He is, btw, on lj as well, and keeps saying he'll introduce himself to you someday...)

I lost an entire group of friends to Diablo 1 when it first came out in college. But eventually the do come up for air I've noticed. Good luck

heh - R introduced me to Diabolo when I first got here. It was nice to have my brain eaten as we were going through accreditation and affiliation problems.

Majickally, when the issues cleared up and I started needing to get work done, the disc has stopped working in our drive. I have a feeling it maybe karma coming around to whomp me on the head.

I'm ashamed (?) (maybe not) to say that when I first lost Ivan to Diablo I just fought fire with fire (excuse the pun) and bought a second copy and now we slay things side by side on the internet. Its quite a bonding experience.
