I just saw the BodyWorlds exhibit at the CA Science Center. It was pretty amazing. I asked my Western Clinical Medicine teacher last Thursday if I could do a paper of some sort to make up for the class we're going to miss on Thanksgiving. My friend who went with me is going to do a paper on the mad scientist doc who invented the plastination process. I think I'm going to do a paper on the plastination process and maybe the body donors.
Some of it was disturbing. I don't think all of the kids who were there realized that they were looking at actual factual dead people's body parts (and I tried not to think of that at times). But overall, it showed the beauty of life by showing us our death. Ok, I'll stop now coz that might be a little too much for some. But, anyway, if you can stomach it, by all means, go see it.
