Last night I had a dream that the table we ordered from ebay arrived, only it turned out it was made of cardboard and not made from wood with mother-of-pearl inlay.
Today, in reality, the table we ordered from ebay showed up and it was wrapped in a box inside a box inside a box inside a box (kinda like a matreshka doll). Seriously, it was. And the table is actually made of wood with mother-of-pearl inlay. It's a gorgeous octagonal middle eastern table - just like the ones in the books I have. I can put my Turkish coffee set on it and it will look . . . right.
Can't wait to take it to an SCA event. (Now all we need is a day pavillion to put it under). Plus, our hookah looks great next to it.
