I'm surviving my Monday-Hell Day. One more class left at 6 until 9.

merchimerch's bachelorette party was fun. I'm grateful that iyindo was there so I didn't feel totally left out. She was like the bridge between the ethnomusicology people and the rest of us.
At some point on Saturday, we got sucked into 3 hours of "The L Word" on a tape I got from work. I'm hooked! Gimmee more! I'm gonna have to go rent some more episodes I guess. S and I went to the Olivia opening (thank you for the tip,kitminx, I'm sorry you couldn't make it.) Her work is beautiful as always. And how did I miss the fact that she did the paintings of Courtney Love for her new album? They were there - large as life (almost). Onto a birthday party with carne asada, guacamole and ice cream served at 1am. Yum!
No wonder I slept most of yesterday away. I made praline bacon around 3 and woke my hubby up with a plate of it under his nose. I also went downtown to photograph a gorgeous green man and pagan-y grove back tattoo. So amazing!
Now I'm off to study for tonight's class and get some caffeine for the snooze fest.
