Possibly the weirdest thing about watching the Oscars in CA is that it's not so late after they're over. It's only a little after 9 and I don't have to rush off to sleep.
I am SO pleased that Return of the King won so many awards. I am also very pleased that Charlize Theron won for best actress even though I haven't seen Monster yet. That makes 2 years in a row where gorgeous actresses prove they can act and not look pretty while doing it.
And then there was the director of the Best Animated Short who thanked his boyfriend on American television. Right on.
Our soon to be ex-neighbor is here with pizza!!!!
