(no subject)

My day wasn't all that bady but it started poorly.
I still had a migraine when I woke up this morning. I went to the gym in spite of the headache and it was gone when I was done working out. I took merchimerch's car this morning to run errands. Let's just say that Daisy is tempermental. And she doesn't like to start very easily.

Stopped by the landlady's to drop off the rent check. Her dog greeted me at the gate barking his head off at me. I dared not enter. I dropped the envelope inside the gate and turned to leave. Then the landlady came out and informed me that her dog was just being friendly. As if I can tell when a strange dog is being friendly?

I got to work at 10 am and as I entered the building, I realized I didn't have the office keys since I'd taken the spare set of keys for Daisy. I went back home and it took all the energy I could muster to turn around and go back out again.

That's more than enough stuff to happen in one day, don't you think?
I am proud of myself for not stopping at In N Out Burger on the way home tonight because if I had, I would have missed a gorgeous sunset on the bike ride home. Now for popcorn and maybe some beer. I might even go and buy something more expensive than the cheap grad student beer we have in the fridge.

Addendum: I think I saw James Marsters today but I was driving so I couldn't stop to check. I've been here a year and 5 months and still haven't been sure if I've spotted a celebrity. On that note: Does anyone know where Courtney Love will be signing her new album?? I think it comes out on the 10th.
