(no subject)

We just had our first potluck dinner with the people in our building plus a few others. We all agreed to try to do this once a month at different apts. Yay! We're building a little community. Yum turkey! Yum potluck! Yay for having parties in our garden. And I redeemed myself for the cake mixup from yesterday by making excellent roasted potatoes with fresh sage and smoked garlic, even if I do say so myself.

The parties were a lot of fun last night. I don't think I can post a pic of my 80's prom dress because I don't have a website to link it to :( Ah well. And it's not that good of a pic anyway. My neighbors insisted that I model it for them tonight. (Sorry, [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com], no 80's porn pix either)

Um, a very tippled [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] is having SO much fun washing the floor of our kitchen with scrubby booties. Envision someone stomping grapes and you'll know what I'm talking about. I'm so glad we found a fun way to clean something.

I'm slightly drunk and tryptophan sleepy and am going to take a nap before I study some tonight, I think.
