(no subject)

S and I went to visit our new couch today. It came in a lot earlier than anyone at the store expected. It looks wonderful and hopefully we will be able to pay for it and have it delivered before our housewarming party which will be in a few weeks (details to follow once we have a date set).

Then we went to the Getty Center. The grounds are beautiful. There's a gorgeous garden and people were picking up huge fallen maple leaves. I got to see the Dorothea Lange photography exhibit which was depressing but good. And S got his fill of Ancient Greek art. They even had a woman's crown. He took pix of it. (Guess that's what I'll be wearing one of these days).

My cold has gone into my glands - they're swollen. feh. S is making chicken soup and then we are going to go out to a Day of the Dead party held by someone on the LA Buffy list I'm on. We get to meet more new people. Yay!

Bothered because I'm still wringing my hands. I need to stop. Hopefully the shrink I got a recommendation for will be able to help me with it.
