I left the house today, excited about going to an early show of "Frida" at 1:15. When I got to the car, I saw that the passenger side window had been smashed in. Our cd player was stolen along with all of our cds. S**T!
So, I didn't make it to the movie. Instead I went back to the house to deal. We went to get the glass replaced.
Two months of living in LA and this is the list of other damages to our car:
TWO driver side-view mirrors smashed (we've replaced the second with a piece of mirrored flexible stuff, so it can't break).
One back tail light busted and dragged along the side of our car.
Plus the car has been marked with a key with some gang symbol.
It's not like we have a nice car or anything. We have a P.O.S. Chevy Astro Van.
I think I need to recharge the protection gris gris bag I got for the car in New Orleans.
